Cantaloupe micro suede is a bright slice of color against a buffed bronze backdrop, sleek mirror-topped cocktail table and a traditional TV cabinet.  Symmetry can be found in side tables and lamps, while window treatments in multi-floral pattern trimmed in leopard print are a witty touch. wrote Melody Parker, Arts/Special Sections Editor for The Courier.

Home Show 2007 Highlights

Color. Texture. Comfort.

Those three words describe the design sensibilities reflected in the American Society of Interior Designer's Showcase at the Eastern Iowa Home Improvement and Landscaping Show February 08 - February 11.

In the contemporary and eclectic living room created by Flack Interior Design, a luxurious wool cable-stitched area rug is the nesting place for twin serpentine chaise lounges.

"The room is romantic but functional, casually elegant.  I think this look works for people living in an older home who want a more contemporary look or for someone furnishing a loft space." says Kathy Flack, who worked on the room with colleague Brandy Smith.
